Island Tour - PI-015
From the splendid carved Dravidian temples of south India, there is a drastic change in the surroundings once you reach the island of Andaman. The luxurious forests and the unexploited beaches lined with historically important monuments are the places of tourist interest in Port Blair. As the flight approaches Port Blair, an interspersed bunch of islands come in view. It actually seems as if some emeralds have been thrown out of a beautiful necklace, floating on this vast blue lagoon! Splendid beaches of soft white sands with foamy roaring waves kissing them lightly, the vast mangrove forests spawning with infinite variety of flora and fauna, the magnificent underwater sea life and a bump into some aborigine tribes those have inhabited the islands from time unknown; is the real beauty of these islands.
